Course Options
Create Your Own Course
Create and design your own course to meet your professional development needs. After your course proposal is approved create a timeline, log your hours, complete your approved projects and submit them for grading.
Curriculum Enhancement Courses
The Curriculum Enhancement Courses are designed to expand your creativity by encouraging you to develop curriculum activities and projects that will motivate your students to learn and engage. The goal is to demonstrate how the professional work you create, or have previously created, enriches and empowers the learning process of the students you teach.
Travel Study Courses
Develop a personalized academic program based on your travels within the United States or abroad. The course is designed to enhance understanding of different educational systems and find new perspectives of historical, political, scientific, or social aspects of foreign areas.
Conference/Workshop Courses
Earn graduate-level credit as a "follow up" to attending an educationally related event that will enhance your professional development. Credits are earned after attendance and the coursework is design to demonstrate the implementation and planning of the activities, projects, strategies, or techniques.
Teacher Induction Training
Earn graduate-level credits for completing your Teacher Induction Training. This unique offering is available to all current and past participants for an extremely affordable cost.
These courses are not applicable for a degree at Pacific but can be transferred at the discretion of your institution. An official transcript is available from Pacific upon successful completion of coursework. While it may be possible for the credits earned in these courses to be used for salary advancement and state licensing requirements, we do not provide assurance that any state licensing board or school district will accept these credits for those purposes. Individuals seeking credits for those purposes are advised to check with the appropriate agencies and gain approval prior to registering.
